Real-life Hero

I was reading Vidya's Blog when I found this link. Very moving story, Siddharth has a Master's Degree in Economics with Distinction! True, somehow most people tend to see negatives in these kinds of people, and then tend to sympathize/pity them. I am sure they would like to be treated normally, rather than being sympathized with.

I feel very shallow when I think about the times when I have complained when I hear about such people. We normal people tend to make out our problems to be so huge, that when you hear about guys like Siddharth you realize what determination/courage is all about and just feel humbled.

I am also happy that rediff put up this article.

Exactly. Many of us take all of this for granted. To normal folks, sometimes life is a bit of a struggle, but to these special people life is nothing but a struggle. To overcome all these physical shortcomings and move forward with their life is indeed a great achievement!
